Documents, notes & your coordinator
Inside any transaction you'll find everything you need to keep the deal moving.
Documents
The Documents panel lists every file on the transaction — both files you upload and files shared by the team from their CRM.
- Download any document by clicking it; it opens in a new tab.
- Upload a document with the upload button. Accepted types are PDF, images (PNG, JPEG, WebP), Word, Excel, CSV, and text files, up to 50 MB each. The file picker only offers those types; if you choose something else (an email saved as .eml, say) the panel names the file type in plain words and lists what you can upload.
- Delete is available only on documents you uploaded. Files shared by the team can't be removed from the portal. The delete button sits at the end of the row: on a phone or tablet it is always visible, and with a mouse it appears when you point at the row or reach it with the keyboard. You're asked to confirm, with the file's name, before anything is deleted.
Notes
The Notes panel is a running timeline between you and your team, newest at the top.
- Read every note in one place. Notes added by the team from their CRM show a LeftMain badge.
- Post a new note using the text box (up to 5,000 characters). Your account manager will see it on their side.
Your transaction coordinator
The transaction page shows your assigned coordinator:
- Their name and photo (or initials)
- A click-to-email link and click-to-call phone number
If a coordinator hasn't been assigned yet, you'll see "Not assigned yet" — it will fill in once the team assigns one.
Email when the team adds something
When the team adds documents or notes to your deal, you get an email listing what is new, with a link to the deal. Several additions close together arrive as one email (at most one every ten minutes), and your own uploads and notes never trigger it. Turn it off on your profile under Email preferences.
Documents and notes you add are tied to this specific transaction and visible to your account team, so it's the best place to keep closing paperwork and questions together.
