Why some addresses are blurred, and how to request access.
Listings with a hidden address
Some sellers keep a listing's exact address private until they know who is looking. On those listings you see a blurred address with a lock icon. The city and state stay visible, the map shows an approximate area instead of a pin, and the listing name may read like "3 bd · 2 ba Single Family in Tulsa, OK".
Requesting access
- Open the listing and click Request access under the title. If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in first and brought back to the listing.
- The button changes to Access requested, pending approval. The team is notified.
- When the team approves, you get an email with the address, and the listing shows the real address and name whenever you are signed in.
If the team declines, the listing says Request declined and you can ask again with Request again.
Making an offer
You can make an offer or ask a question on a hidden listing at any time. Once you have made an offer on a listing, you see its full address.
