Recently viewed & hidden properties

Recently viewed

There are two ways back to listings you opened, most recent first:

  • The Recently viewed row. The first page of Properties starts with a row of small cards (photo on the left, then price, name, address, beds, baths and size) for up to eight listings you opened lately. Swipe or scroll the row sideways to see them all; the page itself never scrolls sideways. It shows on the first page only, with no search or filters on: once you search, filter or page, the results are all you see.
  • The Recently viewed view. Pick Recently viewed in the view switch (next to Grid, List, Map and Map + list) to see all of them as full cards in place of the results. The row above is not shown in this view, since it would only repeat it.

Every time you open a property it moves to the front.

  • Signed in, your recently viewed listings follow your account to any device, up to the last 50.
  • Signed out, your browser remembers the last 12 listings you opened on this portal (for 90 days). When you sign in or create an account, they are added to your account and the browser's copy is cleared.
  • A listing that sold, was taken down, or that you can no longer see drops out on its own. So does any listing you hid.

Hiding a property (Not interested)

Every property card, and the top of every property page, has a trash can button next to the heart ("Not interested"). Click it to hide that listing from your results:

  1. A small window asks why not? You can type a reason (up to 150 characters; the counter shows how many you've used) or leave it blank.
  2. Click Hide property. The card disappears and a message offers Undo for a few seconds.

A hidden property no longer shows in your results, on the map, in the filter choices, in Recently viewed or on the home page's featured listings. When you're signed in, you also stop getting emails and text messages about it: new-listing announcements, buy box alerts and digests, and the weekly newsletter.

If the property was saved, hiding it also removes it from your saved properties.

You can still open a hidden property from a link (an email, a bookmark, your browser history). Its page says You hid this property, with an Undo button.

Hiding works when you're signed out too: your browser keeps a random ID for you, and your hidden properties (and reasons) are kept for that ID. When you sign in, they are added to your account. If you had already hidden the same property while signed in, the reason you gave then is kept.

The same goes for your organization's own team: a browser signed in to the admin dashboard but not as an investor keeps its own Recently viewed and hidden properties, exactly like a signed-out visitor. Its visits are still never counted as views.

Bringing a property back

Below the results on Properties, Hidden properties (N) lists every listing you hid, with the reason you gave. Click it to open the list, then click Restore on any property to put it back in your results. Restoring is instant; you can hide it again at any time.

Your organization's team can see which properties you hid and the reasons you gave, so they can send you better matches.
